WD40

So I use to
like the smell of WD40, that is probably because I had never smelled it in a huge dose, or a small enclosed space...... It will even kill spiders, so that made me really like it. That is until today.... Andru and Nikki came over for a while today, and our mom dropped by for lunch, so we were all out here talking about christmas stuff etc. We all thought Andru and Easton were back playing in his bedroom like they usually do. Well Andru came out, and Nikki was like what is that weird smell, is that Gasoline? OH MAN... Boys!!! What else can I say? They are so curious... crazy little critters!! Courtney keeps his tools in the back bedroom, (not anymore!!) Easton found a can of WD40 in one of the tool boxes. It was everywhere! Puddles of it on the wood floor, on the laptop case, on the storage tupperware boxes, puddles!! I can't even describe the smell! And we were supposed to be putting our house up for sale this week. Did I mention that my wedding dress was in the closet back there, and that it's plastic storage bag thing, has a whole in the bottom of it. Well Nikki said some people use WD40 to remove stains, I guess the train of my wedding dress won't have stains. YA!! Oh man.... I don't even know what to say. It only takes Easton a few minutes to create havic. It would be nice to be able to blame it on someone else, or maybe pretend it wasn't all Easton. But he is way to honest and said to Nikki, Andru didn't do it, I sprayed it. I think he was proud. Last week he climbed up on our bed, reached over to the top of our dresser (which is ussually to high for him to reach too) and got daddy's cologne, wow. Our wood bedposts still smell great. He also once got this squirt bottle full of aloe vera... all over the carpet, the bedspread etc. He used to have a big tall fake fishtank in his room, it had those little fake nemo's, and bubbled with lights etc. I would guess it held 4-5 gallons of water. Well imagine that all over his tipped over bookcase. These are just a few of many, very many! I know.. you all are probably laughing, trust me I would to, if it were yours :) And I know I will probably laugh later, much later. It is just that I started today with a headache, and that smell, well..... lets just say it doesn't help. Who knows.... I hope all of you are having a good day, maybe you could share a few of your crazy children stories with me so that I will feel better. What would we do without our kids, do you think we might get bored, or would our houses just be really clean.... lol. In the end I just have to say, even though I felt like crying earlier when I saw the mess, I love my little Easton Roo, and at least he is honest :)

Goals

I have such a hard time finding the time to log in and make a blog. Sometimes it seems like you do so much in a day, but you never get anything done :) Well I decided to get on and make a blog while Ian is asleep :) Luckily Easton is watching cartoon's for a little while. The only time of day he will really watch T.V. is when it is in the morning, he is always waiting anxiously for his favorite cartoon to come on Super Y. He loves it! I needed to make a couple of goals that I have been thinking about for a long time, I figured if I published them out there for all of you to see then I would have to really try!
First I want to read my scriptures everyday (I go through spurts, I will do really well for a few months, and then like right now, I am lucky if I have read them everyother day)

I would also like to try and be a better example to Easton. (I want to try harder to teach him more about the gospel in our home, teach him how to serve others, and show love for others.)

I also want to try to get out of my comfort zone more often. (I have the hardest time calling people back! Or making phone calls for that matter. I always say dumb stuff, and stumble over my words because I can't see there faces.) (Also, I would love to be able to talk to people easier. I am a chatter box, as most of you know, but when it comes to new people, I have a hard time introducing myself, and knowing what to say.)

I would like to lose at least 15 lbs. I have a hard time finding the time to excersize, especially now that it is getting cold, because I don't want to take Ian out in the stoller with the air blowing on him. Excuses, Excuses.... That is why I am putting this on my blog, so I will make myself find a time that works.

I just have to tell you that after reading blogs the other night, I was on such a spiritual high, and was thinking about how amazing all of you are. I was thinking of all of the amazing qualities that each of you have. Thinking man I wish I could be more like that, and a little more like that. It is amazing that you can get a spiritual high from reading blogs. Thank you all so much for being willing to share about yourself, and your lives. It makes me want to try harder to be a better mother, wife, friend, neighbor... etc. There are so many other things that I want to work on, these are just a few, trust me :) Thanks for listening to me.

Rough One

Today has been a little bit of a rough one. Easton, Ian and I all have this cold thing.... It is so hard when your kids are sick, especially when they are little. Poor Ian can't understand why his throat hurts, he coughs, and then starts to cry, which breaks my heart because his voice is half gone. (He sounds like a tiny kitten) :( And poor Easton, today he finally was starting to feel a little better, so all of his energy came back, wow... I just wasn't ready for that. I realise how much the oldest child of every family takes now. Somedays (well probably more than some) I feel like I have no idea what I am doing. So any advice on parenting would be well appreciated :) Thank you Easton, Ian, and Courtney for putting up with me! I love you all so much!!

Easton's Picture

This is going to be another really quick one, but I just had to share this with you all. Easton LOVES!! Packing my phone around, snapping pictures of anything and everything, usually they are a big blur, sometimes you can tell he was taking it of "his" puppy Lilo, or Grandma's elbow etc. But not this one... I have to start just by saying that I was so worried when I had Ian about how Easton was going to react. I had heard stories about how jealous they get, things they will do etc. The first time Easton saw Ian he loved him, kissed him, wanted to hold him... And it still hasn't changed. He begs to hold, play, kiss, feed ect. Ian. Talk about Christ like love, he is such a good big brother. Well the other day this is the picture that Easton took.... :)

Give it a try :)

I love this! I love checking out everyone's pictures, and stories. So I am going to give it a try :) This first one is going to be short, just a start :) But here is a cute picture of my two cute boys at halloween. Easton is Superman, he called the cape his "Power's". He is so flipping cute, and has so much energy (I wish I could have half of what he has!) Ian was a Moose, I kept changing my mind on what I wanted him to be, so the night before I stayed up until 1 a.m. making his little costume. I took him to Court's work the next day and his good friend Randy teased "he has hands on his head" Ian is such a good "little" baby. He is a sweety, and he love Easton. I hope they grow up to the best of friends. Yesterday on the way home from Walmart (Easton and I went to get him some Tylenol for his cold) I called to talk to Court, he put Ian on the phone for me to talk to, and then Easton begged for his turn to talk to Ian. After we got off the phone, Easton said "Ian wanted his Easton". I told him "Ian loves Easton!" (Which is so true, Ian grins so big at his big brother). Easton said to me "Ian loves you too mommy." It was so cute! I couldn't have cuter or better boys, and that includes my hubby, he is such a hottie!
